40%+ Revenue Growth in 12 Months
How a multi-location cleaning company rebuilt after COVID — and then some.

Stable wasn't the same as growing.
A multi-location residential cleaning company had spent 15 years building something worth keeping. Three locations, 30+ W-2 employees, hundreds of loyal recurring clients. The kind of business that earns its reputation one spotless kitchen at a time.
Then COVID hit. Client counts dropped by nearly half overnight. By early 2024, they'd clawed back to stable — but still well below pre-pandemic revenue. Word of mouth, which had powered growth for over a decade, wasn't enough anymore. They needed a different approach.
We didn't walk in with a pitch deck full of experimental tactics. We started where the money actually is for local service businesses — then built the infrastructure to make every channel reinforce the others.
Local SEO
We built a hyperlocal content engine — two city-targeted blog articles per month, written for real people in real neighborhoods, optimized for the exact searches they were running. Within 12 months, search impressions grew 597% and the site ranked for 473 keywords.
Google Local Services Ads
With a 4.80-star rating, these were an instant trust signal. The LSA badge, star rating, and click-to-call button at the top of search drove 121 charged, qualified leads at $33.85 each — while the rest of the system was still being built.
Direct mail — the tipping point play
We identified an affluent 55+ community where they already had satisfied clients, then saturated it with EDDM. When your neighbor loves the service and a postcard from that same company lands in your mailbox — that's not advertising. That's social proof with perfect timing. One mailer alone landed a brand-new weekly commercial contract.
Email, SMS, and referral nurture
Monthly newsletters with employee spotlights, seasonal tips, and community-specific messaging. SMS campaigns drove urgency without noise. Referral mechanics were baked into every touchpoint so happy clients became a consistent acquisition channel.
CRM and pipeline management
We implemented Less Annoying CRM and managed the pipeline 2–3 times per week. Every lead — from Google, from mailers, from referrals — flowed into one place. Nothing fell through the cracks. By late 2025, the owner was forwarding every inbound lead directly to our team because he trusted the system.
